How
to Behave in a Job Interview
First impression is
really important in a job interview, which is largely not the words, but the
appearance, the gestures. Professional bounty hunters get a lot of information
from our body language: a handshake, a posture, a facial expression. The first
impression is decisive for the situation. In general, if you are not
sympathetic to the candidate, you have to work hard in the interview that you
can continue to the next round.
The entry
When they call us into a room, let us enter without hesitation.
Do not stand at the door, be definite. At this moment we are showing our
self-confidence to the others. If we stop or change speed, we look insecure.
Let's move forward and keep our speed up.
The handshake
Hold our palm straight. Let the person know how long the
handshake will take.
The smiling
Make sure we smile with our whole face, with our faces and our
eyes as well.
Eyebrows pulling up
It is an ancient sign that we have taken note of something.
This also indicates that the person's presence was perceived. This shows that
we have reacted to it and we are not indifferent.
The speaking
Our tone should be a bit slower than our partner. During the
interview, we can freely use our hands, if we want to emphasize something more.
Just keep in mind that your movements don't be too much and don't distract you
from your message.
The leaving
When we reach the end of the interview, let's put together our
papers without any hesitation. Shake hands, turn around and go toward the door.
When we reach the door, turn back slowly and smile before leaving.
The smoking
The biggest mistake that we can do is smoking before the
interview. It is possible that one of the interviewer is a smoker, but if there
is no, our popularity will fall down.
