Leadership
Companies look for people who can take a high role in a team, a person that can manage and make the team as efficient as possible, a person that has leadership skills.

Leadership skills can be applied in any kind of team, with any type of goal, doesn’t matter if it is a football team or a group of engineers, both must have a good leader if they want to reach their goal, and to be a good leader you need to have five simple key elements:

-          Have good communication skills

-          Motivate your team mates

-          Be positive

-          Be creative

-          Give feedback to your fellow colleges

Evolution of leadership theories:
The leadership skills discussion started in the 1840s with the idea that leaders were born and not made, the leader skills are intrinsic and nobody can change that (great man theory by Thomas Carlyle). Than with the development of psychometrics it was possible to study and realise that maybe it wasn’t rally like that, so a new theory was born and now it defended that the skills of a leader are more related with the emotional side. Some years passed and a new way to see things emerged and defended that people, in a way choose their leaders since we human seek for pleasurable experiences so we try to find our own leader.

Some people in very divers blogs and web sites give some tips for anyone to see and use to improve his/her leadership skills:
-          Give the example
-          Be humble
-          Know your limits
-          Be emotional aware
-          Learn from the mistakes done in the past
-          Keep improving
