Public Speaking
Hey Guys!!
As many of you know, I’m much of a speaker and when it comes to speaking in public almost anything can intimidate me. Hopefully after you all read this blog post you’ll be pretty much like me.
Having public speaking skills will only be beneficial for you; It can bring a lot of advantages; it can help you improve and achieve better career opportunities, know how to engage with your superior and amongst many others. Also, it can help you on a daily basis. And that’s why I’m going to give you easy yet efficient tips for you guys to manage all that stress and anxiety that comes with when speaking in public.

Figure 1 demonstrates a cartoon animation which unfortunately demonstrates the reality now a days; The problem in today’s society is that people care too much on what other people think and this cartoon is the perfect example of that. People should be confident on what they’re saying instead most of them are afraid to say what they think due to the audience reaction.
Figure 2 is a cartoon animation which in my opinion is perfect. The first step on being successful with public speaking is to be confident on yourself and figure 2 shows that.

Tips to help you improve:
1. Organize your work
2. Prepare and practice
3. Listen to other people’s feedback
4. Use some humor and proper language adapted to your audience
5. Never read everything from the paper, aim to look at the audience
6. Apply hand gestures which will discard nervous gestures
7. Start with a creative and try to catch the attention of the audience and finish your speech with a compelling end.
Hopefully all of you enjoyed and gained a different perspective as well as knowledge regarding to such a mediatic topic like this one!
