Motivation is a personal ambition that human beings have in order to complete something that is quite valuable or essential to us. In other words, we need to motivate ourselves to feel satisfied. (Tanner, 2018)
- Think about the future: personally, i think that if we stop and think about the future is a good motivation technique due to the fact that if we take a look and see what we are aiming and where we are right now could help us a lot. For example: to think about the kind of life I could have, if i do this i can have a good result which could help me to buy what i actually want, etc.
- Remind yourself about your goals: If we set goals, we will always think about them and push ourselves to complete our tasks because we set the goal and we are aiming to get it.
- Use stick notes: this is a good motivation technique as we can put them anywhere we want and write motivation quotes or even something that came up to our minds and this will always remind ourselves of what we have/must do.
- Social support: talking with people is always a good technique because people can always give us their support, people can always share their ideas and give us advice, tell us what we are doing wrong and what is right. Sometimes they can even guide us or have a deep conversation, this could actually make us think and maybe change our habits.
